A little timber cottage high in the Barrington Tops at the northern end of the Hunter Valley is where your luxury romantic  getaway awaits. With king size spa bath, polished timber floors using organic oils, open log fire to keep out the winter chill, a beautiful loft bedroom with stained glass windows and a balcony overlooking the rain forest … what more could be asked for? Perhaps only the songs of the bell birds to serenade you on a perfect morning, and that too we can do.

Here you will find privacy in these tranquil surroundings with time for romance and relaxation.

With our organic bar and restaurant providing healthy organic food our aim is to provide you with a time you will remember for ever with love and happiness. The restaurant is open for dinners and breakfasts, with all dietary requirements catered for.

This nature lovers paradise will delight you with all the native animals that can be watched from your balcony as they go about their evening business and you sip on a delightful glass or organic wine.

For guests short on time the helipad awaits. A helicopter ride from either Newcastle (Williamtown) or Sydney (Bankstown) will get you here and provide more time for relaxation and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

On arrival we provide you with a complimentary drink ­­-- wine, beer or organic juice.

Guests are welcome to use the bicycles and fishing rods at the Retreat and the flood lit tennis court is open all hours with racquets and balls supplied. The salt water swimming pool is there for you to laze in after a walk through the rainforest or on our other 30 kms of walking trails. Touring and walking maps are supplied.

Close by but off the property for the more adventurous there is horse riding and white water kayaking. Also golf and plenty to see in the Barrington Tops National Park. With the towns of Dungog and Gloucester not too far away there are some interesting little shops awaiting investigation.
